I was born in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex, Raised in Allen, Schooled in Denton, now live in Dallas.

I started in media production young. At Allen HS I was involved in the national award winning Media/Journalism program at Allen High School producing award winning newscasts, radio shows, game shows, local commercials etc…

At the University of North Texas majored in in Radio/TV/Film with the hopes of producing live broadcasts… I learned real quick I had no desire to work in that environment so I switched to the dead format of Radio. I learned after interning for Clear Channel that I had no desire to do that either. I then took a location audio class and ended up on my first film set. I never wanted to work anywhere else after that.

After college I started working full time in the commercial film industry. I spent years learning how every department works so I could be a well informed produce. I assisted in every department that would have me: AD, Grip, VTR, Electric, SFX, locations, production, I wanted to learn it all… Until I worked my first commercial art gig and realized I had the diverse skills required to work in the art department; I fell in love. I get to work with my hands, problem solve, decorate, engineer, organize, and now I essentially produce an art department. I’ve been working in the Art Department full time since 2013 and in commercial film in some capacity full time since 2006.

I’m an Eagle Scout.

In 2016 I married Sarah and we just welcomed our daughter Lucy into the world in the fall of 2022… and my heart grew 3 sizes that day.
